Bought the original Chasing Gladius Pro a year ago. Used in several lakes, rivers and once in the ocean. I really liked it, but it's difficult to control and learn in time. When I saw a $75 discount coupon with an overall low price for Chasing Dory, I had to try it. Excited when he came and started. I immediately noticed that the charging connector was very loose and had poor contact. I had to press it to charge it. Dissatisfaction and knowledge of the importance of a good seal bothered me. I thought I went that far so I'll try anyway. I had to hook the security cable multiple times to finally get a good snug fit. I have already signed up and downloaded the new chasing software to my iPhone 12. Tossed the ROV in the pool and tried it out. It crashed twice on my iPhone and once my phone actually shut down. I had to connect to the buoy several times. I've had the chance to use it a bit between glitches. Same basic control configuration as the previous model, the controls are simpler than the previous model, and the tilt/hold function is amazing. Facilitates scanning from below without constant adjustment. That's the best I can say about it. The camera was pretty good, it was well packaged, I bought it because of the discounted price. Can I have a return or a defect? I read that many people had problems with the app, buggy software in general and some bugs in the system. There doesn't seem to be many people willing to work with iPhone, but I couldn't risk not locking my phone again. Overall this was an unsuitable product for me and I returned it for a refund with great disappointment and disappointment. Chasing Gladius China support people are honest at best, I emailed them for help. At least someone is available. Although I could not solve my problems with Gladius products, I received several email replies from them in China.
