A good cover for a bad pillow

I'll try not to complicate things. The idea with the pillow type is to fill it with enough air to support you from your bike seat. The problem with this cushion is that like others, when you sit on it you are forcing air into the parts of the seat you are not sitting on. With this seat, that means you have multiple bladder chambers, roughly the shape of half a tennis ball, that pinch where you don't want them to pinch. I've tried this pad at different air pressures and on not one, but four different seats on my bike. Eventually, and somewhat painfully, I gave up and went the other way. I removed the stock airbox and made a custom thick foam insert for the lid. After shaping and cutting the foam I believe I got what I wanted. The cover slides open easily and stays in place even if the back is NOT covered with non-slip material. Trouble is, I didn't spend more than forty dollars on a case. I paid for a seat cushion that would make my bike more comfortable, not less. I didn't get it, I just got a cap.

Cons
  • I don't remember, but something happened
