NanoVNA test results from 50-900MHz
Bought this antenna to replace the stylus for my Malachite SDR. This one is much better built, it's black and heavy. Sections are denser than cheap telescopic antennas, and according to my NanoVNA sweeps (red lead pin out, blue lead pin in) it should work fairly well with VHF/UHF (HT) portable transceivers. I ran my hand over the body of the antenna ground connector, but the change was unnoticeable. The response drops off sharply below 50MHz and above 900MHz. All in all I can recommend this antenna.
