Plush is the last word I would use to describe this item. I have known Vellux for over 40 years and take care of their products. This item closely resembled melted cheap felt, even after washing/drying with fabric softener (hard water required) and wool drying balls. I wasn't breathing at all, I woke up at 4am in a house with a temperature of 66 degrees, covered in sweat, just a sheet and that. Literally the only thing that gave it 2 stars instead of 1 was the total lack of lint in mine washing machine and my dryer. It didn't shed at all. It should also be the beautiful sage green in the picture, but it turned out to be a bright mint green.
