These swim shorts run small. I usually wear a US size 14 or L in pants and shorts. Based on customer feedback, I first ordered these XXL swim shorts, but they were too big. I changed them to size XL which fits perfectly. Safe for swimming, snorkeling and sea snorkeling but also very convenient for fishing and brisk walking. These swim shorts don't chafe, well made with UV protected material, not too thin but quick drying. I accidentally scratched the reef rocks (grossly) and these floors didn't snag. I wear quick drying underwear because these swim shorts don't have panty panels which I prefer. I have two pairs of these swim shorts and after wearing them I hand wash them with a mild soap. I hang them up to dry overnight so I can wear them the next day.
