I can't tell you how impressed I am with this inexpensive lighting option. I used this light on my video camera covering Hurricane Florence. The light is strong for a small LED panel and there is no need to connect and drain the camera battery. I have significant usage per charge. I used it sporadically for about three days on a 12 hour shift. Probably at least 3-4 hours of video footage. I also didn't have time to cover this battery with any weather protection and used it during a storm. Everything was clearly wet and I was really surprised at how preformed this little light was. I expected this to be crap 'cause it's not a brand with which I am familiar. I was amazed how much it can shine. The color temperature controller is life changing. The light is two tone, which is important to me in my line of work when I need to move to different areas quickly and can't manually adjust the white balance. When you're recording live video or need to get something done quickly, being able to switch from warmer tones to colors is important. It's also lightweight and easy to assemble. The hot shoe mount isn't expensive, but I haven't had any issues. You just have to make sure that it is screwed tight. This light is a must have for beginners like me.
