I know a good rifle sling when I see one because I have quite a few and have made quite a few. This rifle sling is quite odd in the sense that it feels and smells like real leather but doesn't look like real leather. The belt looks like it's made out of plastic, but it might just be the finish of the leather that gives it that look. At the same time, it's thick and stiff and works as it should. The buckle is high quality and the belt fits standard size belt loops. I ordered a 38" belt which through my fault should have fitted the 40" belt, but it still fit in the last hole. My waist is 36 inches. I have to say if you are looking for an inexpensive rifle sling that works great give this one a try.
