I love this honey dipper and want to buy more for syrup or as gifts! I love that it's wood and if your honey crystallizes with age and becomes hard like honey you can put it all in a pot of water with the metal ring removed first (I can't take the honey dipper out when the honey crystallized or not I don't want to pull hard enough to damage the dipper) and melt back into nice runny honey. Honey, so be careful. The wooden scoop touches the bottom of the jar so it curves a bit at the top, but that was never an issue as the lid is silicone and I would have preferred the scoop to reach the bottom. below than missing by an inch. I actually put my jar in a silicone sleeve to keep it from sliding around the counter and to add some sparkle to a regular mason jar. I love it!
