I've been looking for something like this for many years. The quality is excellent, the yarn is dense, the yarn is soft, the color is as in the photo. I bought light gray. The hood stays up and hugs the front of my face, allowing me to see from the side while riding. You can pull it tighter to cover your mouth in frigid weather.
