I bought these to use as tampons and they have worked great. They are smaller than sea sponge brand tampons so I use 2 of these on a rough day. I have no problems with leakage even after wearing it all night. I wash it off every 6 hours or so during the day. I think even if I have to use 2 of these sponges per cycle, at $10 for 12 packs it's still a lot cheaper than the big brand version which is about $20 for 2 sponges. Maybe it's TMI, but these sponges are great for periods. Sex. My friend doesn't feel it at all. I've used a soft cup in the past but this one is much better. With a soft cup, he sometimes felt it in certain positions. I also sometimes have soft cups when I'm in the wrong position. I've never had a leaking problem with sea sponge tampons.
