Review on 🔦 Gentex GENK20A Auto Dimming Mirror with Compass Temperature: Enhanced Visibility and Navigation Aid by Marcus Akram

Received this mirror with wiring. Installed on a 2003 Jeep Wrangler. I already had a seven pin harness in my jeep. I just stuck it in a mirror and the compass worked but got an OC code for the temperature. I know that the wiring that comes with it only has 4 of the 7 pins, which I used to pull 4 wires out one at a time. Leftover OC code. So I ripped out all the old wires and installed the wire into the kit. After 3 hours of installation I connected the mirror. Same damn OC code! It was a simple setup. There isn't much to go wrong. However, I've only spent 3 hours of my life trying to get the same results I had before I started. I bought this mainly for the compass; it works as it should. The second reason was the temperature; this doesn't seem to work at all. I am so incredibly disappointed with these results. **Update** Took this to an electrician. He looked at it and noticed that the two green wires weren't properly connected to the mirror connector. He swapped them and now everything works. Are you serious about Gentex? Hours of my personal time wasted on this because they screwed it up before posting it. The mirror itself worked as it should and is now fully functional. However, the company that makes it.
