I bought these bar stools because they are listed as real leather, not bonded leather. I had this conversation with an Amazon rep who assured me it was genuine leather. You are not! I have leather furniture, I know the difference. They are not bound with leather. They're some kind of vinyl. You will feel a big difference between them and real leather! I guess I'm not that surprised by the price. However, I hate being deceived. They will probably last a while as they are not used very often. However, they are definitely not heirlooms!
