It is very soft. I like the way it looks. It's fluffy and comfortable. Very warm. This is not an all season quilt. I almost got heat stroke trying to use this bad boy all year round. I had to give it up before it got cold again. I have one complaint that I have a king bed and this comforter is short no matter how you put it on the bed. If you have a queen, a KING would probably be perfect. But if you have a king, you should just get something else. My mattress shows itself from all sides. It's pretty unattractive. This really needs to be done MORE. Also, I find the duvet or sheets not breathable. I can't use sheets because they retain so much heat that I'll sweat. But when I use other leaves, I'm fine. In general. GOOD ceiling. I love it. It's great for winter. But VERY warm. And WAY too small for my double bed.
