One of the jars had a strange smell and a powdery substance inside. I washed everything as best I could. The only annoying thing is the foam insert on the underside of the lid. I can only rub but not wash as I'm not sure I won't damage it when wet. I'm also not sure if everything is removable if I want to wash it. This foam insert can deteriorate over time with use. Otherwise a nice glass. After I bought this, I saw another seller selling the same thing for almost half the price I paid; I should have compared the purchases better.
