I got this for the extra screen real estate when traveling for an extended period and staying in one place to try and replace the large screen I plugged into my 2019 16" MacBookPro (Intel). Working (see photo and Video). The construction is plastic and feels a bit flimsy. Resolution is normal, ie good enough. Brightness is controlled by switches on the side of each monitor, but it doesn't get super bright. Again, it's ok. I have this entire USBC setup and had to try different ports on both the MBP and the secondary monitors to get both monitors to trigger I then had to go into the system settings to move the monitors to the correct side of the main monitor, all power is via the USBC ports so there are no extra power cords or transformers which is nice.So not 100% easy for a non tech savvy P erson, but also not that difficult. I will not return it.
