I was looking for a quiet white fan for a white desktop and it fits. I wanted adjustable speed, adjustable position and should be quiet. All three are here, with some caveats. 1) Speed is a dial so you have many options for fan speed compared to others that have low, medium, high switch type, but setting it very low before it clicks is also effectively off and stops the fan, 2 ) very high - a bit noisy , 3) Positioning is quite limited, it rotates up/down a bit, not side to side (just rotate the entire block to do this). Overall I am very happy with this little fan.
