I've never come across an air freshener that really smells like a new car. However, these small bets are a good alternative. You don't have to spend a lot of money on them, they last a reasonable amount of time and smell like leather. To be honest, these little waffles can be REALLY firm when you first open them. I suggest placing one in the trunk and one in the center console storage compartment of your car. When they start to come loose, you can move them right into the car's cabin. A warning: they are inedible. They're not like the Birkenstocks. They are tasteless, even with sauce. Also, the smell is gone!
