I love them and would recommend them to anyone who doesn't mind smelling in the bathroom. eg potpourri, candles, plug-ins, diffusers or similar arrangements to spread the scent, these are things you might like. The lavender scent is more concentrated in smaller bathrooms, especially if you keep the door closed. You can also reduce the intensity of the scent by holding the toilet seat down. Aside from the smell, it depends on how well they keep the toilet clean where you place them. That's the trick I mentioned in the title of this review; The key to success is the placement of the hanging detergent/odor eliminator/fragrance. Although the packaging shows it hanging on one side of the toilet, I found it gave off a lavender scent when I hung it there, but no more. The reason is that the water didn't wash the big balls in the plastic hanger. After realizing there was a problem, I started experimenting. It didn't take long to realize that moving the hanger all the way to the front of the toilet made a world of difference. There the balls are washed with water every time the toilet is flushed. I suspect it's not the same for every toilet, but find the position on the edge of your toilet where the balls are exposed to the heaviest water flow. will give you the best results. The hangers and beads themselves are exceptionally easy to set up, move and remove; Simply unfold the plastic hanger and hang it on the edge of your toilet, done. Unfortunately I can't say how they will perform in extremely hard water as the municipal water I'm in doesn't have this problem. Recommend them to anyone who knows they like similar products, want to try something to reduce the frequency with which they need to clean their toilet and/or anyone looking for an easy way to add some fragrance to their bathroom without having to do without sockets. or any counter space.
