This set is ideal for hanging extensions and short pneumatic hoses. The width of the strap spreads the weight and keeps the cable from pulling against the hook, and the velcro seems pretty solid so far; Time will tell how well it holds up after dozens of loosenings. At first I was surprised that they don't attach to the cords/cords/hoses and stay there. Upon reflection, I realized they would simply be dragged through mud and debris, clogging the velcro. Because they are stored on these straps, there is no reason to carry them around while the item is in use. I like them the way they are. The eyelet is too small for some large hooks, especially rubber coated hooks. To be honest, most of me hang by strong nails though. A pack of 12 allowed me to gift a pair to several family members who appreciate them as well. I expect to buy more in the future.
