Need a small basic stand for a new home office TV. The stand is rarely used, so you don't need anything fancy, elegant, or heavy (read: expensive). For this price, this is excellent quality. It looks like it will cost more and will probably last for years. The stand was well packaged, had no damage and was set up in about 30 minutes. There were no instructions for the reviews written, mine was between the shipping box and the protective foam sheet so it could be missed. The instructions were not very detailed, but well illustrated. Since this is laminated chipboard and plastic, hand-tighten everything, but don't over-tighten or, like some reviewers, you'll end up stripping or breaking the fasteners. If you are placing it in a main residential area where there is a lot of traffic and access to gated camps you may need something more permanent, but for infrequent use this is the ideal solution.
