Fine if you don't mind your liberties

Good: Good case. It looks good, feels good, fits well and the material seems pretty decent. I find the angle of the writing mode very comfortable and holds its position very well. Cons: Once you stick the tablet to the adhesive, you're covered. There is no way back. ReMarkable has sold its soul to the Ayotu Skin Touch Feeling Folding Case. Your tablet's thickness and weight are doubled for the rest of eternity. If you liked writing in portrait mode, that's a pity. The screen is a bit taller now, so typing on a table is awkward and the only "standing" position can be in landscape mode, which sucks since the reMarkable UI has little to no landscape mode features other than templates and toolbars for writing Has. I have a metal tablet/phone stand in a vertical position (both portrait and landscape) that works great with amazing devices. But with this case, it's too thick to fit in the groove that holds the tablet. All of this upset me greatly. I missed the feeling of my ultra-light, thin and bare tablet in my hands, so I did the unthinkable and tried to remove the case. It was very difficult. The adhesive sticks too well to the tablet's smooth back, and when I was finally able to peel it off to read from my bare tablet in portrait mode, I found that some of the adhesive had also peeled away from the case. . It seems to be sticking so well to the reMarkable that its connection to the case itself weakens before it goes to the tablet. After a few hours I was ready to use my case again so I pressed the adhesive back onto the case and it seemed to stick pretty well so I glued my tablet back in and everything was fine. I thought I had just discovered a celestial being hidden between the space-time fabrics of nudity and the case, until about 5 instances of the case and tablet separating over the next few weeks, causing the case's surface finish not to be diminished by the factory-applied glue by about 81.48% and withdraws almost completely from the case. But I still believed in it - I mixed up some epoxy, foamed up this glue and glued it back onto the case. Unfortunately I left it like that for a few hours with the case open and the dust must have settled on the adhesive because now it's not sticking to the reMarkable anymore. So now it's practically useless. (Fortunately, I managed to return to Earth safely). So we can see that the adhesive mount is a bad design choice for the reMarkable tablet case.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Can hurt
