Review on πŸ–±οΈ Logitech T650 Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad - Advanced Trackpad for Enhanced User Experience by Czesawa Czarnucha ᠌

Not a bad product, but you can do better.

At work and at home, the main operating system is Ubuntu. Logitech SetPoint for Linux does not exist in nature and will not appear in the near future. It also turned out that tapping on the t650 surface does not transmit any signal to the OS kernel, that is, it is also not possible to implement such a function using improvised means. Without tap to click and tap to drag, life with a touchpad is no longer so beautiful, and clicking with physical keys (which are the lower pair of legs) is not very convenient - they are quite tight, and you have to constantly move your hand. I had to make a return.

Pros
  • Well made, large surface, the only worthy alternative to the Apple Magic Trackpad.
Cons
  • The surface of the touchpad seemed to me not slippery enough, it quickly gets dirty. Out of the box, it does not recognize tap to click, tap to drag, you need to set SetPoint.
