Review on Sophisticated Sparkle: Disney Women's Rhinestone Watch by Lauren Lewis

I'm only giving 3 for now based on first impressions and what it looks like when you open the box. The watch is nice, but it doesn't feel like it's all metal. Unfortunately, no one specifies what type of metal the group represents. It looks almost like coated plastic and the seemingly gold links are gold tinted only at the top of the link. Judging by the reviews I thought it was just a great deal on a luxury piece of jewellery, but it's just a good/good watch at $27. Do I think it will hold up as I hoped with normal everyday wear, no. But they're still beautiful, and as a Disney fan, I'll wear them with care not to tarnish or scratch what appears to be a coating on some of the metal or plastic strap links. Arrived on time in a beautiful Disney box and looks great on my wrist. All in all a nice first impression, like a watch for a special occasion but not every day, due to her makeup it was a great Mother's Day gift and I love Ariel's alternative drawings. As most of the other reviews are correct, Ariel looks very different from the stock photo but I based my purchase on the photos from the reviews as I liked her copper red color over the purple hair which initially attracted me. It would be nice to show metal in the links, maybe that's just my impression of the links, but it doesn't look like a regular metal watch. Still, I love them and will wear them! Update: We live in a hot state, the watch is indeed low quality 'metal' and turned green after 1 wear on my wrist! Changed the rating to one star. Dissatisfied.
