Actually I would have preferred the stickers to come in a sheet. They are divided by 6. If you don't align them perfectly, you'll end up with darker overlapping areas. It was very difficult to detach small areas even after a ton of hard rubbing. It takes a lot more pressure than expected to get support for a release. I've found that if you "slide" the pad (like getting some air under the pad and sliding it in front of the rubbing rod) it helps loosen it more easily. Make sure you seal your project first and then wait for the top coat to dry completely before attempting to apply and remove the backing. If it is not completely dry it will peel off the top coat and paint. After applying, fix with several coats of top coat.
