I bought one of these lamps a few weeks ago. I liked that it was small and light and had a physical button to press. I liked that I could turn it off and it didn't seem to draw any power when it's off, which is my gripe with all touch LEDs. The lights, which you turn on with a touch, heat up my laptop and tablet like they're running at full power even when they're off. I also like the fact that this light has a bright and dim setting. So I bought two more of these lamps. One was for the laptop I'm traveling with and the other for lighting via a USB port under the cabinet if I needed it. The lamps came in two different boxes with two slightly different labels. The one that clearly said iGear was defective. Oh, it turns on as soon as you plug it in and the button doesn't work at all. When it's connected, it's enabled. So it's not good. The one that looked like it came from a general store worked just like the first one. So two out of three will work. They are inexpensive and not trendy, but be aware that your experience with these lamps may vary.
