Right out of the box, this keyboard case lay flat and fitted my keyboard perfectly. It's thin enough to fit into my computer without being impractical, although my computer doesn't have a cutout around the keys, and thick enough to feel protective and oily. Also, the F and J keys, as well as the down arrow key, have small lines that stand vertically like a laptop, so they don't clog or interfere with your keyboard's ergonomics. I got the blue to match my labtop beach skin and it's not too bright a color but a nice subtle touch. Very impressed with this keyboard case. I've never used it on my PCs, but I've realized how much use I can get from it, so here we are and I'm not looking back.
