Review on Bosun by Scott Rao

The most important thing I like is that it shows me all of my servers in one place so there's no more searching around for them! It gets really old when your server disappears completely off an alert, or worse yet if its status says "offline" (and thats happened to us) without actually telling what went wrong with our service/server - because we've had this problem several times now since installing boson i cant believe how much time spent just trying to figure out whats going down!! And then getting blamed by clients who are too busy having their own issues as usual :-). Not very well designed software either sometimes some things dont appear at first sight which makes looking through logs even harder than they already were before using BOSON. So please give me something better instead :) We have been solving problems related to monitoring infrastructure over past years both internally.
