Also, immediately take the maximum PS Vita memory card, without it in any way, and with a small one you will periodically run into a lack of space. 3G in my opinion is very optional. I need it, because there is no wi-fi at home, and I often go online from it. If this is not a problem for you, you should think about taking it without 3G, saving at the same time. In addition, downloading games from the PS Store with a file weight of more than 20 megabytes only via wi-fi, playing over the network - also through it, that's it. As for watching movies - after Cowon D2, the PS Vita screen is just heaven. Those who are used to watching from a laptop or a large screen are unlikely to be satisfied. Also I don't have a big PS so I can't comment on the cross-platform features. Who cares - look in other reviews or on the net. In general, despite the fact that in my review there were more shortcomings than advantages, I am satisfied with the console. . A year and a half passed and the prefix died. And then I discovered the fact: after the expiration of the guarantee, the prefix in 2022 is repaired only in Hong Kong, at ZAO IRP. The Sony website describes in detail the algorithm for sending there. Sent in early July, July 7 came. A month later, I called IRP CJSC and found out that the board that they requested from Sony had flown in the set-top box. They waited about a month for a response from Sony, did not receive it, and in the end decided to replace the set-top box, this possibility was agreed. In turn, the request for a replacement in Sony was ignored for 3 weeks. There was no response to my reminder of September 7, they answered the second one on September 26, asking to send a serial number, and again silence. Bottom line: three months the prefix is under repair in the absence of a reaction from Sony. As a product - a prefix for 5, as a service - Sony has a fat deuce.
- The advantages are: 1. Graphics - in those games where necessary, almost on a par with computer games, 2. Good build quality - no backlash, squeaks, etc. 3. A good sound and a bright picture - I watch a movie, I'm satisfied. 4. Now, more than a year after release, there is a pretty good selection of games. True, if you play all day long, you may not agree. For my minimum - 1 big game of the week for 2-3 and a couple of small ones is enough.
- 1. Weak battery. Without Wi-Fi / 3G - 4-5 hours maximum, with them - even less. For me, this is the main disadvantage - I periodically go on business trips and bought, among other things, to kill time on planes / buses, it saves the possibility of recharging at airports. 2. Bad camera, almost like my 5 year old phone. This is not a camera, of course, but taking pictures with a prefix is worth it only if there is absolutely nothing. 3. Browser. He was not scolded only by the lazy, and I will not be lazy :) You can read the mail, you can read the news, you better not try the rest, otherwise you will swear. 4. The screen gets dirty from touching a little more than I expected. But generally not fatal. 5. In my understanding, the headphone jack is not very well located - from below. Because of it, for example, the console cannot be placed on the table while playing or watching movies. 6. Social features (Near, online apps like Wake-Up club) could be improved.
