At 24 mm. I observed a slight distortion, but nothing more. I was convinced once again from personal experience that Nikon's optics with a gold ring are really at the highest level. 17-55 / 2,8 left the same impression about himself. Very happy with the purchase. It's pricey, sure, but trust me, it's worth it.
