My wife asked for this camera for her birthday. I thought for $50 we would get nothing but a toy. The boy was surprised. I shoot weddings with a $3,000 Sony VX2100. Since this camera is HD, it has a better picture than my Sony. It doesn't have the features my Sony has, but for $50 this camera is amazing. DXG records to an SD card instead of tape, making it easy and very fast to record video for editing on my computer. My wife carries it in her purse so it's ready to go in seconds.
