I started out by buying two sets, the price was such that I knew I really couldn't go wrong. I needed mirror lighting in the bathroom but also really needed better lighting for my daughter's work area where we take care of all her medical needs so I decided to give it a try. I knew that these types of lights shouldn't be left on for more than an hour or two in case they get hot and melt the glue they were holding on to, but the areas I needed at the time didn't really need the light longer. than about an hour at a time. This is an exception, they were quick and easy to install in about 15 minutes and I suddenly had better mirror lighting than anything I've ever had for makeup and other mirroring purposes that the other room didn't have. The lighting is excellent, I was wondering if the heating of the bathroom and the steam from the shower would affect the adhesive as they warn that leaving the light on for more than two hours and heating for too long can soften the adhesive, but there were no complications at all from it. We've used the second set in my daughter's room where we prep her meds, IVs and the like, but we've always had issues with the lighting where sconces or task lights never give us enough light throughout the area. We prepared the wall like the mirror and set up the light to completely cover the entire work area and it was amazing to walk in, flip the switch and get all the light we needed. The dimmer is good if we need to work while she sleeps, still gives us plenty of light which is especially important for being able to read labels and instructions. I will be ordering a few more kits for use in areas where we always need bright task lighting for an hour or so to work like the places I use for resin work and the kitchen where it's nice to have them under the counter lighting. , which can be turned on while we are preparing food or making coffee without turning on other items. We spent a lot more on lighting systems and lighting kits that weren't nearly as good as these. We tried other alternatives like LED strips and LED counter lights but we never liked them because they weren't bright enough. These bulbs have now become the answer to many of our lighting problems and needs, and now that we've found them we're finding all sorts of places where they're likely to work well for us.
