great concept but could have been done better. I was planning to use it in a bedroom that is about 12ft x 12ft and stays warm/hot even with the AC on. If you had a room 1/4 that size it CAN help. It's August and I'm in Texas so it's hot. in my opinion these fans are too hyped and advertised. I paid about $45 for this one and it's too much. There are more affordable ones out there, but none of them have been out for at least a month. I will send it back for a refund. It can be easily upgraded with a more powerful motor and metal/steel fan blades. Water cooling definitely makes a difference when you're close enough to feel the air. where it would be nice if you had a small office and used it on a desk, or a very small bedroom and placed it on a bedside table right next to your head. However, once the house is quiet it gets quite noisy and I don't understand how anyone can sleep in it. The best feature is the flash. It would be great for a small bedroom for kids if they couldn't reach it because they would turn it over and spill the water.
