I bought these to fix my RV's brake wiring. The original connections were Scotchloc IDC connectors, which introduced voltage and current drops. However, these connectors have proven excellent and have given me a clean, reliable and watertight connection that I am sure will last for many years to come. Pros: Waterproof seal, thick shrink sleeve, durable coating, no noticeable voltage drop, and ease of use. Cons: The amount of heat required to shrink the tubing. (The heat shrink tubing is thick and unless you have a hair dryer or small turbo torch, trying to shrink the tubing can be difficult.)
