The reason I bought this particular swivel was after reading some positive reviews about the size of the TV they bought the swivel for. So, now it's my turn: 1) we have a vortex tv with a square base you can choose between a straight or curved front so this is a very good option especially if some of you have a round or oval base . 2) More than expected! more than twice as much as our 55" Super HD Smart TV. I was not disappointed. 3) Tip: Set the TV to the middle balance point to reduce shaking. The closer it is to that point, the less, if any, it shakes when you turn on the TV. 4) The curve is smooth and quiet. 5) We have a soundbar with our TV and this was a nice addition that could be mounted on a stand and rotated. 6) The swivel base is lightweight but strong and durable. 7) The rotating base is black and looks like part of a TV and hardly adds to the original height. Recommendation: If you have a TV that is on a fixed stand and you need or want to turn it on, don't risk scratching the furniture, don't waste all your time moving or risk damaging the TV! Get this rotating base now so you can sit back and relax!
