I should have listened to other reviews. We have a large older black lab that keeps tipping over on the hard floor no matter how many beds we try he won't use them. It seemed like a great solution to protect his calloused elbow as we tried many things that didn't work. First, these elbow pads were great! They stayed where they were supposed to be and his blistered elbows were starting to look a little better. Worn regularly for less than a week though, and they've already ripped the strap off. Now they are useless because without a strap they won't hold up. I'll try to sew it up again myself but I don't know how long it will last or if it needs repairs that soon. Please correct the seam quality of this product and it can be really great.
