Review on Razer Tartarus Gaming Keypad Analog Optical Computer Accessories & Peripherals by Adam Kowalski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

Keep in mind that it will take some getting used to. Before that, I used a keypad from Baseus - it cannot be compared. After a couple of days of training, you will be able to replace the main keyboard with this keypad by 90%, with the exception of typing. In games All in all, this is a typical Razer product. Excellent quality, full support for macros / settings, etc. in a proprietary application. If you already have a keyboard / mouse from this company, then you already roughly imagine the main user experience.

Pros
  • The ergonomics are great. There are two positions for large and small hands (I have a medium hand, a large position is just right for me. Perhaps people with very long fingers will not be comfortable even this way). All buttons are located so that you can easily reach without straining your hand. I really like the arrows on the side (the joystick is removable, I removed it right away). Adds as many as four programmable thumb buttons, for a total of 24 keys for one hand. The switches are pleasant, laser controllers that can be very finely tuned to suit every taste.
Cons
  • Not the most convenient place for the wheel, in fact I don’t use it. Switches are heavy. There are hard springs, and you need to apply a lot of weight (tighter than cherry mx black). Not suitable for everyone. There is no built-in profile memory (as on the Basilisk mouse), so you need to use the application to pull up the saved settings on another computer.
