I wasn't sure if felt would be useful for doilies, but Aonewoe felt doilies work very well. They're a bit thick to be ideal as a glass accidentally placed on its rim can tip over, but they look good and work well. Cleaning them was a big challenge. Because they are made of felt, foods and liquids tend to stick and cling to the fabric. They cannot be easily wiped off with a sponge or rinsed under running water. But I ran a jam and chocolate pair through my washing machine's normal cycle and they cleaned up straight away and look brand new. While not a perfect doily, they deserve a solid four stars.
