Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

Keeping tabs on my workout progress while playing sports was the main motivation for purchasing this wristwatch. However, this watch is not great for the gym because it can only record the whole duration of an exercise. This site does not provide a workout log. In addition to tracking your pace, distance, and time, this watch can also calculate your caloric expenditure (it helps you more precisely assess your daily consumption, but I'm not too sure about this figure). While the official Apple Watch app may not be sport-specific, there are plenty of third-party apps available. It turns out that this watch is not only useful during workouts, but in everyday life as well. I recently purchased a genuine leather belt with a magnetic clasp (similar to a Milanese loop), as it is both practical and aesthetically pleasing for everyday use. The Milanese loop strap is particularly noteworthy; it has a sharp appearance and can be used with any outfit; however, I avoid wearing it with button-down shirts and instead save my belt for the warmer months. The silicone strap is far more practical than the nylon one, which I really didn't care for. As a worldwide accessory for the iPhone, this gadget is convenient and useful; nevertheless, it does not provide nearly as much independence as the iPhone itself. You should still bring your phone with you everywhere you go, but especially when you're doing sports (and Apple is promoting this watch as a device for sports). Detailed analysis based on activity tracking data is not feasible, but the integrated reminder features will encourage you to be active. That, for the time being at least, is the watch's most appealing feature. Over a short period of time, it becomes obvious how many steps you do on average with a given daily routine, and the watch loses its novelty except as a trainer that reminds you of the missed activities. I haven't worn any of the other available watches since this one showed up. (If you don't put it on, the statistics on activity will immediately be altered).

Pros
  • Advantages: + Very precise pedometer + Adaptable to any outfit (from a business suit to a sports jersey) thanks to its adjustable straps + Presence of an in-built heart-rate monitor (although in practice this is rarely used) Easily interchangeable straps; three days of battery life without charging; activity reminders in the form of a ringing sequence (steps, hours with a warm-up, and exercises); clear, easily readable displays of incoming messages; hands-free voice command;
Cons
  • There isn't room for custom watch faces from outside sources. You can't (couldn't locate) upload your activity data to a Computer or Excel (there are some iconic and unusual ones in the form of cartoon characters among the proposed Solutions, but they're not plentiful). You can view average figures for different time periods and observe the daily dynamics in fine detail, but the built-in application does not specifically provide information on how many steps on weekdays, how many steps on weekends, etc. The major issue, in my opinion, is the watch's lack of autonomy (you still need to take your phone with you everywhere), which causes a delay while synchronizing third-party programs and significantly lessens the utility of the watch.
