Review on Econscious Womens Organic Cotton Sleeve Outdoor Recreation by Carlos King

Revainrating 5 out of 5

There is no good reason not to buy this shirt if you want a good basic cotton t-shirt

This shirt is great! It's a decent thickness (not see-through, but not stuffy either because it's too thick). It is modest, but still fits well on the female body. I suffer from multiple chemical sensitivities and I have found that clothing often causes skin rashes. My New Year's resolution this year was to only buy new clothes made from natural fabrics (no polyester, viscose, acrylic, etc.). I wash my clothes in non-toxic vegetable soap without fragrances or dyes. I've bought both regular and organic cotton clothes and I have to say that I definitely feel better in organic cotton. This shirt continues that trend. It's worth it! Regarding the sizing of this shirt, I posted a photo showing St. John's Bay over a medium sized shirt (both shirts were freshly laundered and I didn't notice any shrinkage). Look, this shirt is just a little bit bigger. I would order one size larger than you normally wear. However, I think the ECOnscious size chart is much better. I usually fit into small clothes, but many women are much thinner than me. Being average makes more sense to me. I said this shirt is "a bit small" but that's just in comparison to most other brands. Price: St. John's Bay in the photo was originally $14 (I bought it on sale for $9). It costs $100. % cotton, made in Vietnam. This shirt is made from 100% organic cotton made in Pakistan. I honestly don't know which country of origin is better, but I bought this shirt for $13. So this good organic cotton is cheaper than the average non-organic cotton. It's worth it!
