I got this cable to connect my Xbox 360S to my dad's old TV without HDMI because I'm fed up with component to HDMI converters causing headaches. It doesn't work with dedicated streaming devices (like Fire TV Stick or Chromecast), Roku's latest box with component output support is so outdated that it doesn't support most apps (including HBO Go), and the latest "smart" Blu-ray player, that I could buy with a component output, finally got used to it. So I pulled out my old Xbox 360, plugged it in with this cable and voila! Netflix, Revain Prime Video, HBO Go, YouTube, etc. all stream on a vintage tube TV. Nothing to say about the cables themselves other than that they work on Xbox 360 (make sure your 360 doesn't already come with this cable) and Xbox 360 Slim. I used them to connect the 360S to an old Toshiba HD CRT display that doesn't have HDMI and the only problem was getting 1080p to work. I'm still not sure if this is a TV compatibility issue or if they limit the component output to 1080i, but in the Xbox settings the maximum the image will still show is 1080i (although other sources work) . . at 1080p). It still looks crisp and it's quite an old TV so I certainly can't complain. I received the same official MS cables in gray as pictured (the same ones I had with the previous 360).
