For a $5 shaving kit this really can't be beat. My main reason for buying it was the HandMade XS shaving brush, which I'll get to in a moment. The quality of the included razor is questionable but would make a beginner's tool or a gift for those new to DE shaving. Derby blades are not sharp. but enough for an extra shave. I get 4 shaves of this with a non-adjustable razor like the one that comes with it. NOW to the real reasons I got this set. ARKO shaving soap works great, makes the face smooth and slippery with little effort, smells like old soap, grandma goes to church. Neither great nor terrible. Finally the handmade boar bristle XS shaving brush from Shaving Factory. The cheapest option on Amazon, when bought in such a set it works well. It has a light scent that seems to dissipate with every shave. Works with a good protective foam with the included soap giving a closer shave than Barbabasol or Edge (wicked) ever came. If you are looking for a great article supplement, this is it. . -1.5 stars
