Overall it's a good mount but there are some caveats to be aware of. I'm happy with the mount, but it was a bit of a hassle to set it up. In terms of location, it's worth noting that this mount needs some wiggle room to adjust position. I had two monitors averaging 30 inches standing behind my desk and to install them in a similar position above my desk I had to move the table 6 inches away from the wall. If I didn't do that, I would have the option of raising the monitors to full height, leaving them a few inches apart, or placing them at the front of my desk, thus wasting the extra desk space I have with this one would have won support. GOOD: The holder makes a robust and well-made impression. Once properly adjusted, the springs are strong enough to hold any monitor under 20 pounds in place, yet still allow you to move the monitor freely. THE BAD: Some screws have to be very tight to hold things in place. place.
