I shopped around so much before settling on this vanity, and I’m very happy with it! The shelves are great for storing hair products, perfume, makeup, and a candle. I wish the bottom part had a removable flat piece that I could place a flat iron on. When I have the mirror up, all of the storage compartments are open and I can’t place styling tools there. I end up using my old makeup mirror and keeping the lid down, but then I can’t get into the storage compartments. I also added a little 3M battery operated light under the bottom shelf to add some light. The storage compartments under the mirror are perfect for face cream, pontails and barretts, makeup remover, nail polish, nail clippers and nail files, and bandaids or other frequently used items. This was a great purchase overall. My husband had helped me assemble it. It’s easier with two people. Adding the mirror on was the trickiest part. I’d highly recommend it!
