Review on BTSD-Home Heavy Duty Bed Risers Furniture Risers Table Legs Elevator up 3” Bed Frame Lifts 4 Pack by Kathy Jones

Nice sofa lift.

As the average American grows taller, I firmly believe that furniture has shrunk by 10%. A bit like a Big Mac or a Whopper. There was a time when I lost that observation. Just before we bought our new sofa. Soon after, I felt like an NBA player on the court, sitting in a folding chair. Not only were my knees above my belly button, but because my legs were so high, it put extra stress on my pelvic bone. Now the extra pressure on such a small area made me feel like I was sitting in a bucket. My sofa needed a lift kit. Just like my dad's truck needs a favorite Skyjacker, Tough Country, Rancho, Fabtech, or Blitzkrieg Motorsports kit. I found it in "Bed Raise" mode. I chose the square ones because we have a nifty way of preventing the sofa from sliding backwards on the wooden floor by placing pieces of wood that bridge the gap between the wall and the back legs of the sofa. The square profile prevents the risers from rolling off the edges of the wooden spacers. What difference does it make if the furniture is the right size. My legs feel great and so does my bottom. I was alerted to the fall while lying on the floor with my arms outstretched under the sofa during installation. "A dog can't jump that high," says my wife. She is right. Our thirteen year old Boston Terrier will not be able to learn this new trick. Hell, he can't even see more than a shadow, much less than what it takes to BASE jump off our perfect-height couch. I love this dog but let's be honest he's so old he has to be carried around these days.
