This purchase was a disappointment. This monitor is beautiful to look at, has decent picture quality and appears to be well built. That's what makes the problem I'm having so frustrating. I'm no expert on these things, but I'm fairly tolerant of technology, especially installing new hardware. This monitor is "plug and play", but unlike my PnP mouse or keyboard, it doesn't install its own driver (at least for me) but uses the generic driver that's installed on my new Windows laptop. The driver doesn't seem to recognize the external monitor and I can't use the laptop monitor as a Windows desktop extension or as a second monitor. This is madness! It also seems that the permissions dropdown is changing
