The screws for attaching the clamps could be better. They are fragile and cheap. You may need to connect a longer cable

I don't know why people say there is no splitter in this kit. The kit I bought had a Y splitter that came out of the dimmer knob assembly. I replaced the dimmer with a remote control and it worked fine. The only negative thing I have to say is that the screws for attaching the clips are very cheap and broke when they were inserted into the oak cabinet. We ended up using glue to attach the light strips until we found better screws. However, they look good and work well. Very happy with the brightness.
