Review on Senco SNS41 16 Gauge Construction Stapler by Tyler Kota

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Large stapler in power and hand tools

, I have had it for about 60 days. I only bought it to build beehives. Formally, I used 1/4" wide, 1 1/2" long, and 18 gauge. staples. I felt like those clamps just weren't enough to hold the joint together. Please note that I glue everything with Titebond II. I use 28 to 40 staples per hive depending on the size of the hive. I bought a refurbished instrument and to be honest it looked brand new. I was able to save $50 by buying a recon tool. I shot through about 6000 (+) staples. I only used 1 1/2" staples. PROS: It didn't snag at all, not once. I used the shutter depth adjuster and it was pretty easy to use and accurate. I have my air compressor. at a pressure of about 90- 100 pounds per square inch. I oil my gun about every 1000 (+/-) staples. CONS: None really, apart from the fact that the trigger is very sensitive. If you're not careful you can fire 2 or even 3 staples before you let go of the trigger Not a complaint, just an observation The more I use the gun, the better my ability to "pull the trigger or shoot" is purchased.
