How important is your security to you? Is less than $20 too much to avoid a crash? I installed these bright strobe brake lights on my spoiled vintage Volvo; it has small brake lights compared to new cars. The tiny cost of this upgrade in an era of increasing driver distractions is negligible in my opinion; Any improvement in the visibility of my precious car and its precious cargo (me!) would be worth 100x the cost of these flashy lights.
