If you don't use this under a monitor this might work for you. I was very excited about this, but when I put my computer monitor on it, it was very unstable. That made me nervous. The top buckled under the weight and the top drawer would not open. If the upper was firm instead of metal mesh, it might work better. Whether you need little storage space on your desk or you have a very light/small monitor, this could suit your needs. I'm sending it back and have ordered another one with a hard top to support the monitor.
