Review on 🎧 Cambridge Audio Melomania 1+ Earbuds: True Wireless Bluetooth 5.0, Hi-Fi Sound, In-Ear Stereo Earphones for iPhone and Android with Portable Charging Case - Black by Derek Jha

Let me start by saying that over the years I've owned over 100 pairs of headphones and tried hundreds of earbuds of all shapes, sizes and materials. I've recently started looking into Bluetooth as I own the WF-1000XM3, UE Fits, Airpods Pro, Galaxy Buds Pro and Pixelbuds 2. With every earbud I've struggled to find a good fit for, I've exhausted every piece of advice I've got. at my disposal and try all the tricks in the book to see if I can mitigate any sealing or comfort issues. Over the years I have found that I prefer the narrower side nibs and my 2 absolute favorite nibs are the Sony Hybrids medium sized (green) nibs and the Brainwavz standard sized medium nibs. Despite all that, the Melomania 1+ is my new undisputed champion for the worst fit and comfort of any IEM I've ever owned. I let my photos speak for themselves. Above I have Melomania 1+ alongside Fiio FH3, Final Audio E4000 and Etymotic ER2XR. For the record, my aforementioned Sony hybrids are great for the E4000 and the Brainwavz for the ER2XR. The FH3 nozzle size is close to my limit as I always get a better fit and seal with smaller nozzles. Enter Melomania. where the nozzle is as wide as the entire body of the E4000 and E2RXR! So the landing is terrible, now what? Well, there are only 3 different sizes of earbuds that are included (in multiple quantities) and the size is small. It's time for advice, isn't it? Not correct! Take a look at my Melomania tips image. When installed, it doesn't look too unusual. But flip it over and you get a much wider opening. I have a backup collection of hundreds of tips and have tried everything I have and nothing has worked. Even my wider bore JVC coils will not fit. I think you have to make do with what they give you. What about everything else? Sound, app, case, accessories, build quality, etc.? I'll leave those points to the other reviewers as there is so much information. This review primarily aimed to focus on the biggest deal breaker that was not available despite all the research I had put together prior to my order. Also, my sonic impressions wouldn't be accurate as I didn't even manage to get a normal print. I hope Cambridge takes Melomania 2 more seriously and does something that even slightly resembles the human ear and ear canal.
